  • Father of Faisalabad ATM robber, Mohammad Afzal has forgiven the police officer responsible for his son’s death.
  • Mohammad Afzal said that he received Hafiz Saeed’s message in this regard from Lahore jail.
  • Salah Uddin was arrested from Rahim Yar khan, brutally tortured and killed in the custody of the police.
  • All three police officers have been reappointed after Salah Uddin’s father decided to pardon them.

Father of Faisalabad ATM robber, Mohammad Afzal has forgiven the police officer responsible for his son’s death. He pardoned the officer on the request of Hafiz Saeed, Chief Jamaat-ud-Dawah.

On Monday, while talking to BBC Urdu Mohammad Afzal made the announcement.

He told BBC Urdu that he decided to forgive the culprit last week at a mosque in Gujranwala. He further added I did this of my own free will.

Forgives on request of Hafiz Saeed

However, he said that he received Hafiz Saeed’s message in this regard from Lahore jail.

“I was taken to the prison and Hafiz Sahab gave me three options: the policemen are ready to face the punishment if you want; they are ready to give you money if you demand blood money, or you can forgive them for Allah,” says Afzal.

As claims by police, Salah Uddin died in custody of the police. He died due to a heart attack after the torture of the police. Salah Uddin was arrested from Rahim Yar Khan.

Although, his father earlier maintained his statement that his son was brutally tortured and killed in the custody of the police.

According to the source, all three police officers have been reappointed after the father of Salah Uddin forgave them. They have been told to resume their duties.
