List of 20 ‘Ehsaas Kifalat Program’ payment centers in Punjab
20 centers have been set up to provide the facility to the underprivileged women in Punjab.
Following the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, the first phase of payment of Rs. 12,000 has been started under the “Ehsaas Kafalat Program”. According to Deputy Commissioner, Abdullah Nair Sheikh, 48000 women have registered themselves for the program.
While talking to journalists, he said that 20 centers have been set up to provide the facility to the underprivileged women in Punjab. They have been established in:
- Eight centers in tehsil Sargodha have been set up for 15534 women.
- Three in tehsil Sillanwali for 6331 women, one in tehsil Sahiwal for 4749.
- Two in Bhalwal for 8536 women.
- Three in Shahpur for 4859 women.
- Three payment centers have been set up for 8349 women in tehsil Kot Momin.

The Special Assistant to the PM on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Sania Nishter said, “The Ehsaas Emergency Cash program is a financial aid effort to support parts of the community that have been affected the most by the ongoing lockdown in the country.”
