At the age of 63, retired army doctor summits highest peak outside Asia
Jabbar Bhatti also scaled the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest in 2017.
AMC Lt. Col ® Jabbar Bhatti has made the nation proud with his landmark achievement of summiting the highest mountain outside Asia. What’s even more surprising is that the retired army officer did it at the age of 63.
Mount Aconcagua has a summit elevation of 6,960.8 meters (22,837 ft). It is a mountain in the Principal Cordillera of the Andes mountain range in Mendoza Province, Argentina. The mountain is one of the Seven Summits of the seven continents.
However, this isn’t his only achievement. Jabbar Bhatti also scaled the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest in 2017. He nearly lost his life in the process but refused to give up.
Jabbar Bhatti is a decorated army officer and the only person from AMC to have done the SSG course.
