7 Pakistani universities make it to QS World University Ranking 2019

Seven Pakistani universities have made it to the prestigious QS World Univerisity Ranking for the year 2019. All 7 varsities are either Islamabad or Lahore based.

The honorable institutions making to the list are the following:

  • Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) in 397 group
  • National University of Sciences And Technology (NUST) Islamabad in 417 group
  • Quaid-i-Azam University in 551-560 group
  • Lahore University of Management Sciences (Lums) in 701-750 group
  • Comsats Institute of Information Technology in 751-800 group
  • University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore in 801-1000 group
  • University of Punjab in 801-1000 group

The third on the rank list is from the capital as well. Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) lies in the 551-560 bracket. Lahore’s Lums (Lahore University of Management Sciences) also made it to the QS ranking this year, clinching a spot in 701-750 category bracket. The fifth Pakistani university on the list is also from the federal capital.

Comsats Institute of Information Technology has been ranked in the 751-800 group. University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore and University of Punjab based in provincial capital Lahore are ranked in the 801-1000 group.
