7-year-old killed, burnt and dumped in tank by neighbor
The victim's father lodged an FIR against their neighbor and her unidentified accomplice.
A minor girl was killed by a female neighbor and her male accomplice. According to the details, the girl was seven-years-old. The incident took place in the Karpa area of Islamabad.
The victim’s father lodged an FIR against their neighbor and her unidentified accomplice. The girl’s father has also revealed that his daughter was burnt and then her body was kept in a water tank.
The police have told that in the First Information Report (FIR), the complainant stated that his wife and mother along with the daughter, named Maira, went to the neighbor’s house for Quran Khawani.
The girl went to the roof. After a few times, the visitors in the house smelt something strong burning. When they went to the roof, they saw that a mattress was on fire however, there was no sign of the minor. Upon searching, Maira’s body was recovered from a water tank that was kept on the same roof.
The complainant also reported that after the body was recovered, they saw a man and the mentioned female neighbor fleeing from the scene.
The incident has also come to the notice of Islamabad Police Operations Senior Superintendant of Police (SSP). He has directed the police officials to arrest the suspects as soon as possible.
