‘Extremely Distressful’: Syeda Tuba Anwar Opens Up About Decision To Exhume Aamir Liaquat’s Body For Postmortem
TV host and former politician Aamir Liaquat Hussain‘s ex wife – Syeda Tuba Anwar – has reacted to court’s decision to exhume her former husband’s body for postmortem.
Last week, a local court ordered to form a medical board for the autopsy of former PTI MNA after a petition was filed demanding a postmortem. During the hearing, Aamir Liaquat’s family legal team presented argument against his postmortem as it would hurt the deceased’s “soul”.
According to the police report, it is impossible for the surgeon to determine the cause of death till an autopsy was performed. The court then gave its verdict and ordered to perform the autopsy.
Tuba Anwar Reacts:
Now, the ex-wife of Aamir Liaquat Hussain has reacted to the court’s verdict, calling it ‘extremely distressful’. She stated that it would have been better to do a postmortem examination on the day of his passing.
“May Allah pak make this easy for the deceased and the acquaintances,” Syeda Tuba Anwar prayed.

And how do EX- wife got a say in this? She ain’t the one to decide. If authorities and examiners got a good reason, they must go forward with that.
We as Pakistanis show mercy only to the deceased and not to the living.
I think it’s family who is supposed to be more authorized to decide, how the hell authorities can order on the basis of random person.
