Former Pakistan cricket team’s pacer Aqib Javed has advised Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ramiz Raja to resign. Following the change in federal government, there has been lots of talk about the PCB chairman.

Ramiz Raja had openly supported former PM Imran Khan and even released a video message amid the vote of no confidence. At the moment, Ramiz Raja hasn’t decided to resign and is continuing his duty.

“Considering the way he [Ramiz] supported Imran Khan, I think he should reign from his role,” said Aaqib Javed.

The former pacer believes that the next chairman PCB will either be Najam Sethi or Zaka Ashraf. He added that both of these former chairmans did an excellent job.

Furthermore, Aaqib Javed is also not happy with PCB’s decision to start Pakistan Junior League, which is scheduled for October this year. “The PCB should first focus on making PSL a success before starting other projects. There are still a lot issues which need to be addressed with regards to PSL,” he said.
