If there is one thing Pakistani cricketers are really good at, that’s fast bowling. From Fazal Mahmood, Sarfraz Nawaz to Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, Pakistan has always produced top-notch fast bowlers.

The Pakistani quickies have been praised all over the world for their multi-talents with the ball. Now, former South African great, AB de Villiers, has named Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Asif among one of the best bowlers he has faced in his career.

“Some seam bowlers, Mohammad Asif from Pakistan, he’s very similar to Hazlewood once again, and Hazlewood also makes in the list and Pat Cummins as well,” said De Villiers during an interview with cricket.com.au.

According to Mr. 360°, the five best fast bowlers he faced during his playing days include Mohammad Asif, Shane Warne, Stuart Broad, Josh Hazelwood, and Pat Cummins.

The 35-years old isn’t the only South African who had troubles facing Asif. Last year, Hashim Amla had also named Mohammad Asif the best fast bowler he ever faced.

“Mohammad Asif is the best one [I have faced],” he said.
