Abu Dhabi ADEK Scholarships 2023: Eligibility Criteria and How to Apply

Abu Dhabi has announced scholarships for thirty new majors. Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge ADEK has announced scholarships for the year 2023 in different avenues of higher education to Emirati students.
The majors that have been included in the scholarship program are journalism, computer game development, UX design, web design, fashion design, landscape architecture, entrepreneurship and innovation, medicine, performing arts, and more. Likewise, ADEK is also offering scholarships in 82 disciplines, including creative and elite majors.
How to apply for ADEK scholarships 2023
In order to apply for the scholarship, you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility Criteria
Elite Majors
- Year 13 or Grade 12 students with over 90% average in Term 1
- 85% or more final average in Grade 11/Year 12
Creative Majors
- A portfolio and 2 letters of recommendation
- Grade 12 or Year 13 with an average of 85% or more
General
- An IELTS score of 6 or 60 TOEFL iBT
- Admission offers to one of ADEK’s approved 15 universities worldwide
- Current university students aged 24 and below and specializing in a major offered by ADEK’s top 150 universities
- Should have a minimum GPA of 3 or equivalent of it
- Should have completed 30 credit hours from university at the time of applying
Those students who are accepted by ADEK’s approved 20 universities are eligible for fast-track scholarships, bypassing eligibility criteria, and will also get shortlisted in no time.

Deadline for applying
The last date to apply for the scholarship is 31st March 2023. However, those who are interested can do so by going to the website and submitting their applications online.
