A prominent social activist Muhammad Zada Agra was murdered on Monday in Malakand by unidentified men after he launched a drive against the “drug mafia.”

The KP Chief Minister, Mahmood Khan, took strict notice of the activist’s murder and suspended the Deputy Commissioner and the Assistant commissioners from their posts.
Speaking to the media, the KP government spokesperson Kamran Bangash said that the Deputy and Assistant Commissioners of Malakand had been suspended and made OSD.
Moreover, the KP Chief Minister sought a report from the Inspector General Police and directed him to arrest the criminals at the earliest.

“No one is above the law. The KP government will provide complete legal assistance to the family of the deceased activist,” the CM said in a statement.
Khan also expressed his condolences to the affected family for the irreversible loss and prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased’s soul.
