Pakistanis are greatly enjoying watching Ahsan Khan’s character Rashid in the latest Geo Entertainment’s hit drama Qayamat. The actor has been making waves with another power-packed performance after his role in the drama Udaari.

Ahsan Khan has garnered major praise for his portrayal of a spoiled and abusive husband Rashid from across the border too. Veteran Bollywood actress Zarina Wahab, praised Ahsan Khan in a WhatsApp message, writing:

As Rashid, you are too much … Excellent work.

Recently, the phenomenal actor revealed his secret inspiration for his popular character Rashid.

In conversation with Hassan Choudary on the show Heart to Haute, Ahsan Khan talked about his character Rashid, Qayamat drama’s story, and when it is going to end.

While talking about his character, the Pakistani actor said:

Rashid is inspired by one of the very famous scholars Zameer Akhtar Naqvi, who is no more with us. His way of speaking attracted and inspired me. There were a lot of memes through which I gained inspiration.

About the Drama Qayamat

Qayamat has been written by Sarwat Nazir and directed by Ali Faizan. The star cast of the drama features names like Neelam Muneer, Haroon Shahid, Saba Faisal, Shabbir Jan, and Amar Khan. Qayamat is a story of a young and beautiful girl Ifrah whose life decisions are dominated by those around her. Eventually, all hell breaks loose when the people closest to her repeatedly make the same mistake making her future bleak.
