Air Chief awards junior squash champion with 0.5 million prize money

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan has awarded junior squash champion Muhammad Hamza Khan with 0.5 million prize money. He met Pakistan’s Junior Squash Team who participated in British Junior Open Squash Championship at Birmingham and lauded their efforts.

Muhammad Hamza Khan was star of the show as he brought home the Under 15 title in the tournament. Air Chief, who is also President Pakistan Squash Federation, appreciated the team and awarded them with cash prizes as a token of appreciation. Hamza was awarded with cash prize of Rs 500,000.

Air Chief said that Hamza has made the entire country proud by winning the championship after 8 years. He specifically appreciated the efforts of  the coaching staff for providing international-standard training to the young players and bringing the lost glory back to the country.
