Video: Anwar Maqsood breaks down while talking about Moin Akhtar, says he still writes his name

While answering a question, regarding if he missed Moin, Maqsood said, “Moin is like a vine wrapped around my heart. I wrote for Moin for nearly 32 years.”

Legendary Writer and Satirist Anwar Maqsood, in a Q&A session hosted by his son Bilal Maqsood,  became emotional while remembering the late Moin Akhtar.

The renowned writer spoke about how he and Moin were inseparable for a long time.

While answering a question, regarding if he missed Moin, Maqsood said, “Moin is like a vine wrapped around my heart. I wrote for Moin for nearly 32 years.”

The writer further went onto say, “Great people like Moin might leave this world, but they are here he [Moin] is here. He is in every house, and he is in every heart.”

“Sometimes when I am writing something like Loose Talk, I write my name and instinctively start writing Moin’s,” Anwar sighed.

Fans on Twitter got emotional by watching a clip of one great artist paying tribute to another.
