‘Apne kaam say kaam rakho, meri coach mat bano’: Sarfaraz Ahmed bashed for scolding his wife [Video]
A recent interview of Pakistani wicket-keeper batter and former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has been going viral on the internet. The 34 year old recently appeared on Nida Yasir’s show with his wife and kid.
Sarfaraz Ahmed and his wife shared different things during the interview. He revealed that once he scolded his wife for advising him to focus on his cricket.
The cricketer said that after failing to score runs in South Africa, his wife – Khushbakh – advised him to focus on his performance. Despite being asked by his wife not to share the story on live TV, the former captain continued with it.
“I was already disturbed with my performance and then Khushbakht asked me to focus on my performance. It irritated me a bit and I immediately told her to mind her own business,” he said.
Sarfaraz Ahmed added that he told his wife to stop trying to be his coach because he already has his own coaches.
The viral video received mixed response on social media with most of the netizens bashing the cricketer. A social media user wrote that he should have taken her advice serious because his batting performance eventually led to his sacking.

Furthermore, Sarfaraz Ahmed also stated that despite the interest of his son in cricket, he will not let him become a cricketer. He also revealed how him and his wife met.
