Aprilia RSV4, other sports bikes are coming to Pakistan. Here’s everything you need to know
The style of the bike is inspired by the ultra-modern RS 660.
Experts believe that 2021 will be a good year for Pakistan’s heavy bikes market because world’s famous brands like Aprilia, BMW, and Moto Guzzi are coming to Pakistan. According to reports, Pakistan is a potential market for such big brands.
Recent reports indicate that Aprilia is coming to Pakistan in the next few months. Aprilia Made in Italy is a European Brand that opened booking for its latest 660cc Sports Bikes at the end of 2020.
Aprilia Pakistan started booking for the Superbike RSV4 1100cc at the amazing price of Rs. 4.5 Million and 5.0 Million (Factory Edition) under 12 months of warranty and complete after-sales services.
The Two Variants of Aprilia
According to sources, the company is bringing two variants of the bike to Pakistan. The first one is the RSV4 (only in the Dark Losail color scheme), and the second one is the RSV4 Factory (in the two Aprilia Black and Lava Red color schemes). The revamped 1,099 cc V4 engine powers both versions. Still, they can be distinguished by the standard equipment, which, for the Factory, includes forged aluminum wheel rims, the semi-active Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension system, and the Brembo Style brake calipers.
The Design of the RSV4
The New RSV4 is known as the evolution of a super and victorious project. The bike’s design features built-in winglets, engine and electronics evolution, and new ergonomics for even higher performance levels. The company states:
The Aprilia RSV4 has been constantly updated and refined over time for sportiness and performance.
The style of the bike is inspired by the ultra-modern RS 660. It flaunts shapes modeled in the wind tunnel; these shapes allow an extremely low aerodynamic resistance coefficient, with a significant benefit in terms of performance at high speeds and increase in the air pressure in the airbox – all of which increases the downforce of the bike.
The Winglets and Headlights
The winglets are no longer an additional element on the panels of the bike. However, they are still built into the double-wall fairings. This optimizes stability at high speeds and simultaneously improves engine cooling, diverting the hot air flows from the rider.
The triple LED front headlight unit of the bike features perimeter DRL lights, representing the lighting signature of Aprilia sportbikes. It includes the “bending lights” function: the pair of auxiliary lights illuminating the inside of the turn, increasing visibility when cornering.
As per sources, the bike’s ergonomics are entirely new and improved due to the new fuel tank. The bike features a new saddle that allows the rider to fit perfectly with the fairings, presents more onboard space, and a more natural and relaxed riding position. The bike’s electrical controls are more functional and intuitive, and the new TFT instrumentation is more extensive and more complete.
The Driving Modes
There are now six Riding Modes in the new bike:
- Three for the track (including two customizable);
- Three for the road (including one customizable).
The rider can choose the Riding Mode that best interprets his or her riding needs to automatically obtain the best settings for Traction Control, Wheelie Control, engine brake, ABS, and the other managed parameters.
