Arslan Ash will not be competing in Redbull Kumite in Las Vegas due to visa issues!

The Lahore-based Tekken player, Arslan Ash, astonished everyone by winning EVO Japan & USA in 2019 and continued his triumph to become the ESPN E-Sports Player of the Year and put Pakistan on the E-Sports map.

That historic year in which Red Bull esports signed Arslan with the pandemic ended abruptly, while many esports were able to adapt to the online environment. If you’re a professional player based in Pakistan, you’ll face additional challenges.

According to Arslan, the primary source of his earnings was from the tournaments he played in different countries. But due to the pandemic, he couldn’t travel anywhere.

Ash pointed out that many Tekken gamers could not afford the high-speed internet required to play the games. ‘We are lacking this in the Tekken community,’ he further added in his statement.

Arslan ash said in a documentary, “My mission is to raise awareness about esports in Pakistan. Pakistan has tremendous esports talent, and I want the government to know that this is a billion-dollar business, and I want to keep it alive.”

By continuing his successful legacy, Arslan Ash was about to participate in Redbull Kumite, Las Vegas. Due to visa issues, he couldn’t be able to make it to the competition. In his recent post on social media, he shared how he went through a severe depression state because of not making it to the tournament.

He said, ” My view is that the Pakistan government should intervene in making visas available because all our hard work and talent fall by the wayside just because we can’t freely travel.”

He requested the Government of Pakistan to make the visa process easier for the players who want to travel to different countries to represent Pakistan.

In my opinion, a true gamer will never lose hope. The passion, confidence, enthusiasm, and hard work will always pay off once you are determined to achieve something in your life. The E-Sports industry is growing swiftly around the globe, and the future in Pakistan is bright for gamers.
