Social media users are appreciating Prime Minister Imran Khan for his recent announcement regarding the corona virus relief package.

The Prime Minister has announced over 1000 billion Rupees (2.7% of Pakistan’s GDP) package for all the segments of the society.

Relief of daily wage workers Rs 200 billion
Relief to Exporters Rs 200 billion
Relief to vulnerable families Rs 120 billion
Medical workers and Government Staff Rs 50 billion
Relief on Petrol/Diesel Rs 50 billion
Relief to SMEs Rs 100 billion
Support to Capital markets Rs 30 billion
Funding to utility stores Rs 50 billion
NDMA Rs 13 billion
Payment to Farmers (wheat) Rs 280 billion
Food Items Package Rs 75 billion

 

A famous journalist, Mir Mohammad Ali Khan, also appreciated the PM by stating, “I Salute You, PM Imran Khan, 2.7% of our GDP as the Corona virus relief program. I swear I was not expecting this. The initiative is beyond appreciable. Over 1000 billion Rupees package for all the segments of the society. Most to the poor. Rs 200 billion for the daily wage earner.”

While explaining the initiative to a social media user, Mir Muhammad Khan further said, “Excellent. Because The PM first went to the IMF and asked them not to count the deficit in their program due to the Corona virus and gave all that to the Pakistanis. This I have never seen in my life to cut such a deal with a lending institution. This step will help every segment of Pakistan.”
