‘Most difficult to work with?’, Ayeza Khan opens up about work experience with leading male actors [VIDEO]

A former interview of the Pakistani actress Ayeza Khan has resurfaced online in which she is seen spilling the beans on her favorite male co-stars. Ayeza Khan appeared on Momina’s Mixed Plate two years ago to play “20 things you didn’t know about Ayeza Khan”.
During the interview, the host asked the Pakistani diva 20 forthright questions. She began the discussion by asking Ayeza Khan, ‘who is your favorite co-star’?
Ayeza Khan said:
When I started in the industry, I was very fond of Fahad Mustafa, whom I collaborated with in ARY’s drama Pul Sirat. Currently, Imran Abbas is my best co-star to work with and tops the list of my favorite colleagues. Imran ke saath bohat maza aata hai, pura saal me uske saath kaam kar sakti hoon. Koi bhi project dedo mujhe Imran ke saath. [I have so much fun working with Imran; I can work with him for an entire year. Give me any project with Imran.]
It is pertinent to mention that Ayeza Khan has worked with her favorite co-star Imran Abbas in four successful dramas: Koi Chaand Rakh, Mohabbat Tumse Nafrat Hai, Tum Kon Piya, and Thora sa Haq. According to media reports, the two celebrities have recently hinted at reuniting for another drama series.
Ayeza Khan’s favorite co-star may be Imran Abbas, but the audience has appreciated her on-screen chemistry most with Humayun Saeed and Osman Khalid Butt.
On being asked about working with Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ayeza Khan said:
Haan maine Hamza ke saath bhi kaam kia magar Hamza ke saath kaam karna bohat mushkil hai, wo bohat hansta hai, to uske saath jitne bhi serious scenes thay jinme gussa aana tha or wo saaray emotions to wo hansta rehta tha. [Yes, I have worked with Hamza, but it’s really difficult to work with him. He laughs a lot, so whenever there is a serious scene with him that requires certain emotions like anger, he keeps on laughing.]
Ayeza Khan further shared:
I once asked him, kya kar rahay ho? [What are you doing?] Tum nahi dogay mujhe acting cues, tum bilkul na dena mujhe, Nadeem Bhai (director) dengien cues. [Please don’t give me acting cues, Nadeem Bhai will provide me with acting cues.] So Nadeem Baig used to provide me with my acting cues, so I started referring to him as Pyarey Nadeem, and that’s how I did the entire serial.
While Ayeza Khan hasn’t done a drama with Hamza Ali Abbasi lately, the two reunited for a television commercial.
On the work front, Ayeza Khan is currently basking in the glory of her successful serial, Laapata. The series is garnering major attention from the public as they love the actress’s role in the drama. Before this, Pakistanis also loved watching Ayeza Khan in the comedy-drama Chupke Chupke.
