‘Mai Enko Janta Bhi Nahi’: Babar Azam Hits Back At Aftab Iqbal
Pakistan all format captain Babar Azam has responded to renowned journalist Aftab Iqbal’s criticism.
It should be recalled that the journalist had heavily criticised the dashing Pakistani batter. Aftab Iqbal had stated that he doesn’t consider Babar Azam a star due to his ego.
Not because he dropped catches, not because he’s not performing. But because he has an ego issue! He’s started [grouping] with players,” Iqbal had said on his show Khabarhar on SAMAA TV.
Furthermore, the journalist also told Babar Azam not to forget where he started from and where God took him so quickly. He also advised the Pakistan captain to include Haris Sohail, Faheem Ashraf, Imad Wasim and Shoaib Malik in his team.

Now, Babar Azam has responded to Aftab Iqbal’s criticism. In his post match press conference, the 27 year old was asked about the journalist’s comments about him.
The right handed batter replied that he doesn’t even know who Aftab Iqbal is. “I don’t know who you are talking about and I don’t even know the name you mentioned,” Babar replied.
