Babar Azam’s father opens up about his son’s poor form

Karachi Kings and Pakistan’s all-format skipper Babar Azam is having a tough time in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL). The 27-year-old hasn’t been able to impress with the bat so far.

Many cricket enthusiasts think that Babar Azam isn’t being helped enough by the rest of his teammates, which is why he is unable to perform to his full potential. The right-handed batter has so far scored 268 runs in the PSL 7 at an average of 38.28.

Babar Azam strike rate isn’t as impressive as you would expect from a batter of his class. He has only hit one six in the tournament in eight matches.

Babar Azam’s father issues a statement:

Babar Azam’s father – Azam Siddique – has issued a statement regarding the Karachi Kings’ skipper poor form on his Instagram account. Azam Siddique said that his son is out of form and he prays that this phase will soon be over.

He added that Azam doesn’t stop working hard. The father of Babar Azam prayed that ‘may he get his form back against Australia’.

The team led by Babar Azam hasn’t won a single game in the tournament so far. They are already out of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) title race. The Kings will play against Lahore Qalandars tomorrow.
