Barak Obama’s summer playlist includes Pakistani singer Arooj Aftab’s song “Mohabbat”
Recently, the Former US President, Barack Obama, shared his summer playlist for 2021, which included Pakistani singer Arooj Aftab’s song “Mohabbat” from the album Vulture Prince.
For the last few years, Obama has been releasing playlists of music he has loved listening to. This summer’s playlist has been titled Barack Obama’s Summer Playlist.
Obama took to twitter and shared the playlist with a caption: “With so many people getting together with family and friends, there is a lot to celebrate this summer,” he said. “I put together a playlist of some of the songs I have been listening to lately — it is a mix of old and new, household names and emerging artists, and a whole lot in between.”

Mohabbat,’ a song by the Pakistani artist, has been listed among Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, and Rihanna’s tracks. The singer expressed her pleasure at being featured on the list on Instagram.
Arooj took to Instagram and thanked Obama, saying, “Well, this has been wonderful to wake up to. Thank you, Barack Obama.”
Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, Riz Ahmed, Mira Sethi, and Natasha Noorani were among the celebrities who congratulated the emerging singer on his inclusion in Obama’s playlist.
