BCCI vice-president issues hilarious clarification after deleting his tweet demanding ICC action against PM Imran Khan

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice-president Rajeev Shukla demanded International Cricket Council (ICC) action against PM Imran Khan after misunderstanding his tweet. Yesterday, the Pakistani PM took to his Twitter to congratulate the Pakistan cricket team for their brilliant performance against Australia.

In one his tweets, PM Imran Khan took a jibe at the opposition parties, accusing them of ‘match fixing’ to lure his ‘players’.

However, Rajeev Shukla thought the Pakistani PM’s tweet was related to cricket and demanded ICC to take notice of his statement.

Soon after being brutally trolled on social media, the BCCI vice-president deleted his tweet. In the morning, Shukla once again took to his Twitter to issue clarification about his last night’s blunder.

He wrote that he was being sarcastic on PM Imran Khan’s “tweet of political match fixing on the eve of Holi which is known for humour and colours.” He asked the netizens: ” Bura na mano holi hai (Don’t mind, its Holi.)

According to some netizens, the former Indian Premier League (IPL) chairman was drunk when he tweeted last night.
