In the scorching heatwave, the founder of the JDC Welfare organization (JDC), Syed Zafar Abbas Jafri, arranged a picnic at Hawks Bay Karachi for senior citizens of the men old age home.
Social media users have been praising the foundation for its initiative.
Social gatherings like these help bring elderly citizens together with people they don’t often spend time with due to their limited mobility. Being outside can also benefit their health both physically and mentally.

Mashallah…. I wonder if government is thinking to build more and more old homes for our elderly. This concept is the best where elderly can be sent to these old homes to live/meet/play with their peers and the younger ones also do not have to worry much about their health/activity etc while they are earning their bread and butter.
