Big win: Amid reports that coronavirus can be fatal for the elderly, a 64-year-old patient recovers in Karachi

Government officials have confirmed that a 64-year-old infected man in Karachi has been discharged from the hospital after completely recovering from the Corona virus. It is a significant win for Pakistan amid reports that the new corona virus can be fatal for the elderly.

Sindh government representative, Murtaza Wahab, confirmed the development, saying that the 64-year-old had tested negative and was sent back home.
According to the Provincial health officials, the second patient diagnosed with the virus in Pakistan is recovering and would be discharged soon if his condition improved further.
Earlier, the first corona virus patient of the country was discharged from the hospital after full recovery.
The patient was in quarantine for the past ten days and was tested three times.
The young patient, who is believed to have caught the virus in Iran, was diagnosed on the February 26th and afterwards was moved to an isolated ward of a private hospital. He had traveled to the country in a group of 28 pilgrims.
