By Intimidating PM Khan Bilawal Succeeded In Diverting Media Attention Form PPP’s Fake Account Cases
Media before all these non issues was talking about their fake account and money laundering cases and all of sudden Bilawal managed to intimidate PM Khan by irking him with 'Selected PM' narrative and managed to get this loose ball in the shape of this 'Sahiba' comment generating an anti PM Imran talking point in the media for a while.
Trolling and below the belt attacks from both PM Imran Khan and Bilawal Zardari aside, the truth is we are living in era of post-truth politics. In this form of politics the hard facts matter no more. The parties try to build the discourse in a way that diverts attention from actual political issues of public and the corruptions scandals of politicians to the petty or non issues and talking points like ‘Sahiba’ and ‘Ungli’ and Media also jumps to this bandwagon.
In this media narrative building strategy all that matters is who can pin his political rival in the war of narratives well by bad mouthing and trash talking. Who can verbally humiliate the opponent through hollow talking points to build a perception or actually imparting shame on the political opponent. This is exactly being done on the both sides. But more effectively this exact is the strategy of PPP right now. Media before all these non issues was talking about their fake account and money laundering cases and all of sudden Bilawal managed to intimidate PM Khan by irking him with ‘Selected PM’ narrative and managed to get this loose ball in the shape of this ‘Sahiba’ comment generating an anti PM Imran talking point in the media for a while.
Where as the hard fact and ground reality is that PP and PMLN are two tried and disposed political options by this nation. Their utmost try is to divert public attention from their corruption scandals to the alleged ‘incompetence’ of the current government by making a huge deal out of petty issues and slip of tongues.
The hard fact is the both parties are corrupt to core, and have destroyed Pakistan on every front. People of Pakistan have voted out these two parties of status quo for a change they wanted to see in PM Khan. Khan’s performance in these historic toughest circumstances of Pakistan has been still better and in the interest of the country than decades of politics of these two corrupt parties. There’s a lot of unprecedented achievements of this young government on many fronts to support this claim. Khan’s competition is with his own tall claims and higher standards he has set for himself. Otherwise these two parties are not a huge benchmark to compete with.
I mean look at Sindh and you tell me does PPP have any moral capacity to raise finger or give lecture on performance, delivery and administration to anyone? But still thanks to a sold out fraction of media and some intellectually dishonest anchors and immoral liberal moral bridged’s selective activism and criticism, PPP is somehow able to build a perception that they are holier than thou and epitome of performance, delivery and experience.
The hard core reality is Sindh is most miserable province with highest poverty rate according to the numbers of State Bank of Pakistan. And yet PP and it’s supports have audacity to lecture others? I pity their intellectual dishonesty, they are just motivated by two or three primary factors. Number 1 factor is Imran Hate, Number 2 ‘Nasal Dar Nasal Ghulami of Bhutto Family’ and Number 3 is Personal or Financial interests. I feel bad for them. At least they should be honest to themselves, don’t at least deceive your own self.
Don’t support Khan, criticize the government as much as you can. It’s your right. But at least don’t support corrupt thieves and their progeny raised upon the Haram looted money, with zero delivery and performance record on ground, just out of you family loyalties. Be loyal to your morals at least.
