Atif Aslam has a new fan!
Originally sung by the Sabri Brothers, Tajdar-E-Haram is one of the most loved Qawalis of all time. This famous Qawali has been sung by many but no one has been able to make a name like the Sabri Brothers.
Having said that, Atif Aslam’s Coke Studio rendition of the song received an amazing response from fans all over the world. It has been watched as much as 279 million times on YouTube so far.
Now, it turns out that British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Christian Turner, is also a fan of Tajdar-E-Haram. Taking to Twitter, Mr. Turner wrote that his colleague suggested Tajdar-E-Haram by Atif Aslam and he thoroughly enjoyed it.
“I am told I should get to know more Pakistani music – a colleague recommended this by @itsaadee as a Ramazan favorite which I enjoyed. Other recommendations welcome,” he wrote.
