British media thinks Princess Kate Middleton has ‘broken protocol by shaking hands with male officials in Pakistan’

Princess Kate Middleton on her arrival at a school in Islamabad yesterday reached out to shake hand with a soldier, just as he was about to salute her.

British media not only thinks that the moment was ‘Awkward‘ but also that Princess Kate Middleton has ‘broken protocol by shaking hands with male officials in Pakistan’.

Apparently the British female royalties are expected not to show a lot of skin or touch someone or be touched by some non royal beings because it is considered against their stature and protocol. They believe it doesn’t suit ‘royal’ and ‘prestigious’ beings to do all that.

Interestingly and Ironically enough these two are the very protocols, when an ordinary Muslim women is asked to follow in Islam, are not considered them being treated ‘special’ ‘royal’ or ‘prestigious’ but ‘oppressed’.

So the question is what exactly is the objection here? Is Islam treating women in a too royal way or is the British female royalty is being ‘oppressed’ and their independence is being curbed and dictated?

If these rules, similar to rules set for women by Islam, are oppressive, then what kind of flawed and oppressive rules are set for these epitome of civilization, western female royalties? We leave that for you to judge.
