‘Cartoon Network, this guy,’ Feroze Khan to Bilawal Bhutto after his CNN interview

The appointment of Shehbaz Sharif as Pakistan’s 23rd Prime Minister has left a sour taste in the mouths of many people. Even some celebrities were speaking up against the country’s new PM and in support of Imran Khan.

Recently, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari opened up about the current political situation in an interview with CNN‘s Becky Anderson.

Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s CNN Interview

The Chairman said that his grandfather was hanged by a military dictator, and his mother was assassinated, he was forced into politics from a very young age.

“I did not choose this life, it chose me,” he said. When Anderson asked him about dynastic politics, he said that dynasties exist and it would be wrong to ‘criticize’ Hilary Clinton because her husband was in politics. Bilawal added that while you can criticize nepotism as much as you want, at the end of the day it is the people of Pakistan who decide.

While answering a query about being appointed the new foreign minister under a PM that isn’t from his own party, he said it would be difficult for the party to digest. However, Bilawal is of the view that we have to work together to address the problems of Pakistan.

Bilawal also spoke about ex-PM Khan’s demand for early elections, saying that they want fair elections. However, he added that the 2018 elections, in which Khan came into power, were termed rigged nationally and internationally.

He also said that it is a win for Pakistan’s democracy, as the country is moving towards free and fair elections.

Feroze Khan’s reaction

After this interview went viral, actor Feroze Khan called him a ‘cartoon.’

This is not the first time the actor has had his opinions be known. He also called Reham Khan a snake and showed support for Imran Khan on his social media accounts.
