China to construct 150-bed hospital and a technical institute in Gawadar
Speaking at the ceremony, Balochistan’s Finance Minister Zahoor Ahmed Buledi thanked the Chinese government for the initiatives.
The foundation stone of a 150-bed hospital and a technical institute in Gawadar was laid yesterday by the Provincial Finance Minister Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi.
The two projects will be completed in collaboration with the Chinese government for which 240 million (Chinese currency) and 87 million RMB grant for the construction of the hospital and Pak-China Friendship Technical and Vocational Training Institute has been approved respectively by the Chinese government.
Speaking at the ceremony, Balochistan’s Finance Minister Zahoor Ahmed Buledi thanked the Chinese government for the initiatives. He also highlighted how the China Pakistan Economic Corridor has been helpful in bringing foreign investment in the country.
He further added that the grant for the two projects by the Chinese government is another example of the deep-rooted friendship that exists between the two countries.
According to Mr Buledi, the technical institute will not just train the youth of Balochistan but it will also produce vast employment opportunities. Chinese Consulate General Mr. Wang was also present at the ceremony.
