According to the Academy, Today's millionaires demand bodyguards that not only bravely protect their owners from physical attacks but also protect them from hackers.
China’s “Genghis Security Academy” bills itself as the country’s only dedicated bodyguard school. It trains security guards for China’s rich and famous.
According to the Academy, Today’s millionaires demand bodyguards that not only bravely protect their owners from physical attacks but also protect them from hackers.
The Founder of the Bodyguard school, Chen Yongqing, said, “China’s economy has been overgrowing. We came across many billionaires whose families and shareholders in companies; all need security guards.”
He added, “Our priority is not only to provide physical safety but to also offer business security. As along with corporal security, the demand for digital privacy has also increased. Famous business leaders need protectors who also ensure cybersecurity.”
The Genghis Security Academy claims to be the only private bodyguard manufacturer in China that trains 1,000 bodyguards every year. These graduates land jobs as guards to China’s burgeoning ranks of rich and famous positions, which can be worth up to $70,000 – several times more than an annual office salary.
The company has included digital security in bodyguard courses; however, the number of millionaires in the country has been growing so fast that the need for required bodyguards is not being met.
