CM Punjab seeks strategy to shift hospitals to solar energy
To assess the progress of health projects, CM Punjab chaired a meeting in Lahore.
Chief Minister (CM) Punjab, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi has directed the authorities to speed up the completion of health projects. He has also ordered to formulate a strategy for converting public hospitals to solar energy gradually.

Provicial Minister for Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, former Principal Secretary, G.M Sikander, Health Department Officials, Finance Secretary and Chief Secretary were also a part of the meeting.
CM Elahi has also permitted funds for the development of a dental hospital in the Jubilee Town of the metropolis. He has also instructed the authorities to complete the Institute of Child Health (ICH) project under public-private partnership (PPP). Moreover, he ordered immediate completion of Mother and Child Block of Ganga Ram Hospital in a period of one month.
CM Pervaiz Elahi announced the provision of solar-powered tube wells to the farmers impacted by the flash floods of the province. This was done to facilitate them as they suffered massive losses due to the disasterous floods.
