‘Comedy Central’: PPP election campaign ad trolled on social media

Just a few years ago, political parties used to spend millions of rupees on television for their election campaigns.

Now, they have shifted their focus towards social media as almost everyone with an internet connection uses Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Instead of spending big chunk of money on TV campaigns, political parties now just make videos highlighting their achievements and upload it on the internet.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) did the same for the upcoming second phase of local government election. However, it seems they failed miserably at it as the video was brutally trolled online.

In the video, two youngsters can be seen talking about foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his ‘achievements’ ever since he took the important role. Watch the video below:

Reacting to the video, senior jouranlist Mubashir Zaidi wrote, “comedy central.”
