Ehd E Wafa’s last episode’s screening cancelled due to Coronavirus, HUM TV asks fans to ‘stay tuned’ for updates

Keeping in view the Coronavirus pandemic, HUM TV has decided to cancel the screening of the drama serial Ehd e Wafa’s last episode. The finale was supposed to be screened in cinemas across Pakistan on the 14th of March.
As the number of cases of the novel COVID-19 increase in Pakistan, the World Health Organization (WHO) has issued a set of guidelines. According to the instructions, a strict ban on public gatherings needs to be imposed to control the spread.
“HUM Network Ltd, being one of the leading media companies, has always taken its responsibility seriously. In line with the above, and keeping in view the WHO guidelines on the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been decided to cancel the grand finale screening at cinemas,” read a press release issued by the HUM TV.
Keeping the worsening situation in view, Cinestar Cinema in Lahore, Atrium Cinema in Karachi and Centaurus Cineplex Islamabad have announced to suspend their operations from late Saturday (today) onwards. The new dates of the screening will soon be announced.
