Has China’s deadly Coronavirus reached Pakistan too? You must take these precautionary measures now!
According to media reports, the first case of Coronavirus has been diagnosed in Pakistan.
According to reports available, the first case of Coronavirus has been diagnosed in Pakistan. Although the news is still unconfirmed, the available information suggests that the case has been reported in Nishtar Hospital Multan.
The patient traveled from China to Dubai. He reached Karachi on the 21st of January. After landing there, he then left for Multan through Pakistan International Airline flight PK-332. He was taken to Nishtar Hospital after his condition deteriorated and was shifted to the isolation ward.
Although the news has been rejected by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on National Health Dr. Zafar Mirza, it still doesn’t rule out the possibility of Pakistan being among the most vulnerable countries likely to be affected by the virus.
173/ A part of media is INCORRECTLY reporting about diagnosis of a first case of novel corona virus in Pakistan. We expect responsible reporting by media. Please do not add to nation’s anxiety about nCoronavirus and should meticulously check facts before reporting. Thank you !!

~ Where has the virus reached so far:
According to experts, bats could host Coronavirus. Their link with the spread of the mysterious, deadly disease in China further raised eyebrows as a video of locals enjoying bat soup in the Chinese capital of Wuhan went viral.
The virus has claimed the lives of 17 people so far. Other counties, including Pakistan, are on the brink of being affected by it as well. Scientists are still unaware of the actual cause and believe they ‘underestimated’ the consequences. However, Wuhan is its origin.
The public was alarmed because the Coronavirus has a striking resemblance to SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), which killed nearly 650 people across China in 2002-2003.
The death toll from the new SARS-like virus rose to 17 on Wednesday and has spread to five countries, including the US.
