The newly appointed DPO, and his wife, both hail from the southern district of Bannu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Dr. Zahidullah has previously served as the DPO Dera Ismail Khan and DPO Nowshera. On the other hand, Gul Bano is the first woman in the 50-year history of Mardan Tehsil to be appointed as an Assistant Commissioner.
In an exclusive interview with The Independent, Gul Bano said, ‘After clearing the CSS exam, I was worried about what the people of my village would think, but now they are proud of me when they see my photos on social media.
