A court has fined a tailor – yes, you read that right! – for badly stitched clothes!
The consumer court in Lahore penalized a tailor for not only bad stitching but also late delivery of the clothes. Muhammad Shahbaz gave his tailor, Muhammad Hafeez, two suits to stitch. He was supposed to wear the suits at the wedding ceremony of his best friend. However, when it was time for the wedding, he was unable to wear the clothes due to terrible tailoring and late delivery.
Shahbaz demanded a fine of Rs.2 million, but the court fined the tailor Rs.51,500 instead.
Prior to this incident, a Lahore consumer Judge imposed a fine of Rs. 60,000 on a salon for leaving the makeup of a bride incomplete.
