Cricket fans draw similarities between Dean Elgar’s LBW & Sachin Tendulkar LBW during Mohali semi final

The third day of the ongoing test match between India and South Africa was marred by controversy. In the third session of the day, Ravichandran Ashwin trapped the South Africa skipper -Dean Elgar – right in front but the DRS showed otherwise. The DRS showed the ball going over the stumps, thus Dean Elgar survived.

The Indian players were not happy with the decision and made some nasty remarks at the broadcasters and DRS technology. Cricket fans still haven’t forgotten how Sachin Tendulkar survived against Saeed Ajmal during the 2011 World Cup semi final in Mohali. The fans are of the opinion that both Elgar and Sachin Tendulkar’s DRS decisions are similar.

Even Saeed Ajmal commented on the Protease skipper’s LBW decision. The former Pakistani off spinner believes that Elgar was out.

Furthermore, Saeed Ajmal added: “When the Sachin Tendulkar decision from the 2011 World Cup was overturned on review, I was told that the technology should be trusted & is accurate. Today those same people are saying the technology should not be trusted & is not accurate.”

Here’s what cricket fans have to say:
