Cynthia D. Ritchie accuses Rahman Malik of raping her, says she informed the US embassy in 2011 as well
She calls for an open investigation.
American consultant and blogger Cynthia D. Ritchie has accused Pakistan’s ex-interior Minister Rahman Malik of raping her at the president’s house in Islamabad. She further accused former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani of physically manhandling her.
Terming the allegations as too serious, she called for an investigation. Cynthia, who has gained a reputation for being pro-establishment, has previously made startling claims against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) highest leadership.
She previously accused that Bakhtawar Zardari and victim of extrajudicial killing Naqeeb Mehsud were dating and hence PPP leadership got him murdered. She later deleted her tweets after they went viral.
Cynthia further accused the highest echelons of PPP of hacking her email account and spying on her. In a live Facebook video, she said that Malik raped her back in 2011 when PPP was in power.
And, yes, I did tell someone at the UsEmb in 2011, but due to 'fluid' situation and 'complex' relations between US and Pakistan, response was less than adequate.
I've been engaged to a wonderful man who I met in 🇵🇰. He encouraged me to speak out, so we can move on as a couple. https://t.co/PpfdF9Fuib

Before going live on Facebook she tweeted: “ZardarisFilthyPPP keeps threatening me. Why? Because they know that over the years I have been raped/assaulted by men in the highest ranks of PPP. They don’t want the world to know. I have decided to go live on Facebook in approximately 30 minutes & continue to tell my story.”
