Did Imran Khan Apologise To Parvez Elahi For Calling Him ‘Punjab Ka Sabse Bara Daku’?

Parvez Elahi and Imran Khan

Chaudhry Parvez Elahi’s son – Chaudhry Moonis Elahi – has revealed that former PM Imran Khan apologised to his father for calling him ‘Punjab ka sabse bara daku’.

He made this revelation on his official Twitter account on Sunday. Chaudhry Moonis Elahi took to his Twitter account to share what Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had written in his book about the Sharif brothers.

It is pertinent to mention that the Chaudhry brothers have developed differences ever since Chaudhry Shujaat announced to support the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government. Shujaat’s son Salik Hussain was recently sworn in as a federal minister.

Responding to Moonis Elahi’s tweet, senior journalist Hamid Mir stated that the things he said about the book are true. However, Mir asked Parvez Elahi’s son as to who called his father ‘Punjab ka sabse bara daku’.

Moonis Elahi’s response to Hamid Mir surprised many. He replied that ‘the same person who came to our house, apologised and asked to move forward together.’

It should be noted that in the past, former PM Imran Khan had immensely criticised the Chaudhries of Gujrat along with other politicians. In one of his speeches, he called the former CM ‘the biggest thief of Punjab.’
