Did Samar Khan Lie About Reaching K2 Base Camp On Cycle?
Khan is the first woman in the world to ride a bicycle on the 4,500 meters Biafo Glacier in the Karakoram Mountains of Gilgit Baltistan.
There has been lot of discussion on social media regarding whether or not the Pakistani cyclist, Samar Khan, reached the K2 base camp on a bicycle.
Yesterday, the cyclist took to her Instagram and announced that she had successfully reached the K2 base camp on her cycle. She has been regularly updating her social media followers regarding her journey.
“Doorway to Choghori (K2). The stage where prayers are answered or sometimes delayed, where I got to see the clear face of majestic Choghori, standing with grace,” Samar Khan wrote.
Social media users congratulated the biker after she claimed that she has successfully reached the base camp.

Not just that but netizens are also questioning her claim because of the high rough and mountainous terrain that must be traversed while moving towards the base camp of the world’s second-highest peak.
