Did Diriliş Ertuğrul Break a Guinness World Record?

To date, the drama has garnered over three billion views.

Ever since the Turkish period drama Diriliş Ertuğrul aired in 2014, it has consumed a substantial worldwide audience. The series has been translated into 39 different languages, both in dubbed and subtitle versions.

To date, the drama has garnered over three billion views.

Recently, local news portals started reporting that Diriliş Ertuğrul had smashed a world record. The word is that the globally acclaimed Turkish series has been inducted into the Guinness World Records for establishing history as one of the best dramatic works of our time.

However, rumors are still unconfirmed, as nothing can be found on the official Guinness World Records website.

It should be noted that the record-breaking drama recently broke YouTube records with its Urdu-dubbed version, Ertuğrul Ghazi. It is being regarded as the most-watched drama series on YouTube. The series even broke the YouTube channel’s record of gaining most new subscribers in a month.

Diriliş Ertuğrul did not only gain a massive fanbase on YouTube but attracted millions on the digital streaming platform Netflix.

PTV is set on dubbing the later seasons of the series in Urdu to air it on television.

All this success makes us imagine that perhaps the Turkish drama did manage to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records. However, only time will unfold the truth.
