CCPO Lahore, Zulfiqar Hameed, opened up about the situation at hand regarding the coronavirus and the present demands of the police officers in an exclusive interview with Voicepk.net.

When asked about the challenges faced in implementing the guidelines, the CCPO lamented that it was difficult to implement the guidelines in mosques as people refused to comply and the police could not use force.
When further asked which specific group of people made it difficult to implement the SOPs, he wished not to point out to a particular group of people but he named the pilgrims from Iran, members of Tablighi Jamaat, and the travelers coming from abroad.
Domestic abuse on the rise:
Answering about the kind of cooperation they need from citizens, he said even though most citizens do comply with the SOPs by staying at home, the increased domestic violence is an issue. According to their records, domestic abuse increased by 25% in Lahore.
