Dr. Arif Alvi offers Japan the services of skilled Pakistani workers and IT experts
Alvi added that Japan could recruit skilled workers and IT experts from Pakistan to meet its human resource requirements.

The President, Dr. Arif Alvi, has underscored that Japan could avail of ample business opportunities in the South Asian country.
The sectors the president highlighted for investment were agriculture, automobile, information technology, and textile.
The president expressed this while highlighting Pakistan’s investment potential.
The president spoke to the Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, Kuniori Matsuda, who called on him at his official residence in Islamabad on Monday.

Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, Mr. Kuniori Matsuda, called on President Dr. Arif Alvi, at Aiwan-e-Sadr.

According to the President House’s official statement, Alvi said Pakistan attached great importance to its ties with Japan as both countries enjoyed cordial relations in various fields for decades.

He said Japan enjoyed tremendous goodwill in Pakistan as Pakistan’s government and people highly valued Japan’s significant contribution in supporting development efforts in Pakistan.
President Alvi expressed the desire to further trade and economic relations for the two countries’ mutual benefits.

Alvi also appreciated the Japanese government’s decision to suspend debt repayments under the Debt Service Suspension Initiative and thanked for the assistance provided to Pakistan to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.
He stressed the need to increase the frequency of bilateral exchanges at the highest level to strengthen cooperation between the two countries further.
Alvi added that Japan could recruit skilled workers and IT experts from Pakistan to meet its human resource requirements.
The president had also asked the ambassador to convey his heartfelt felicitations and best wishes to Japanese Emperor Naruhito on his birthday, which took place on Tuesday (February the 23rd).
The Japanese ambassador congratulated the president over the recently concluded Pakistan Navy’s Multinational Maritime Exercise Aman-2021.
“It brought nations from different parts of the globe to work together for a collective purpose,” he added.
