Recently, a well-reputed Pakistani cleric, Mufti Tariq Masood, has brought up an extremely sensitive claim regarding watching TV dramas.
Unquestionably, the religious scholar has immense knowledge about Islam but his recent claim has raised many questions. Giving his views on the drama-watching trend, Mufti Tariq Masood, said, that it would take away your chances of entering Heaven.
Mufti Tariq said, “People who are taking interest in dramas, they won’t enter paradise. From films and dramas, no one has walked onto the right path, ever.”
Watching dramas in cinemas
Speaking about the emotional impacts of watching dramas, the cleric said, “People are crying after watching dramas. Families are binge-watching dramas in cinemas and are getting emotional as if they won’t be able to watch it again. However, these things are just for timely entertainment, and they are just wasting your time.”
”What if you die watching these shows? They will deprive you of Allah’s paradise. These plays and films have never done any good for anyone. They have only destroyed our family system,” he added.
