DRAP: Now register drugs online in a new way!
As mentioned by the State Minister for Health, the central idea behind launching this website is to make sure that every drug currently available in the market is safe to use.
An online portal has been recently launched by Pakistan’s Drug Rehabilitation Authority where you can now register drugs online and get a license for pharmaceutical organizations.
Just yesterday, Dr. Zafar Mirza, State Minister for Health, revealed the features of the website known as DRAP.
According to Dr. Mirza, pharmaceutical visiting teams would be inspected with the help of this new system. Pharmacovigilance would be another significant feature of this app, which will monitor how these drugs affect their users after getting licensed.

This online portal is covered by the ‘Digital Pakistan’ initiative of the federal government. DRAP would be soon made paperless, as stated by the ministry of health.
Dr. Zafar Mirza said, “We were working manually due to which we received many complaints. Sometimes, it took us years to implement certain policies.”
Dr. Mirza believes that through the digitalization of this system, a new standard of healthcare would be established and it will remain unhurt even if the government makes any changes in the future.
