Renowned cricket’s website ESPNcricinfo has announced its Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 team of the tournament. The team has been picked based on the performances of the players.

Fakhar Zaman:

The left-handed-batter was the top run scorer of this year’s PSL. He scored 588 runs at an average of 55.23 and a strike rate of 152.72. Fakhar Zaman also scored seven fifties and one hundred.

Mohammad Rizwan:

Super-Riz continued his great form and scored 546 runs at an average of 68.25 and a strike rate of 126.68. He also hit seven half centuries.

Shabab Khan:

The Islamabad United skipper was both impressive with the bat and the ball. Shadab Khan scored 268 runs at an average of 33.50. He also picked 19 wickets in the tournament

Rile Rossouw:

The South African international played some crucial knocks during the PSL. He scored 275 runs at an average of 39.28 with three fifties to his name.

Tim David:

Tim David impressed everyone with his power-hitting. The all-rounder scored 278 runs at an average of 29.71 and a strike rate of 194.40. He scored a couple of half centuries as well.

Khushdil Shah:

The left arm spinner had an impressive tournament with the ball, taking 16 wickets. He also played some crucial knocks, scoring 153 runs at an average of 25.50.

Rashid Khan:

The Afghan-leg spinner once again proved himself in the PSL as he took 13 wickets with an economy rate of 6.25.

Imran Tahir:

The South African leg-spinner bagged 16 wickets in the PSL 7 at an impressive average of 18.62 and strike rate of 6.47.

Shaheen Shah Afridi:

After finishing the last tournament as the third highest wicket-taker, Shaheen came back even stronger. He finished this year’s tournament as the leading wicket-taker with 20 wickets and led Lahore Qalandars to their maiden PSL title.

Naseem Shah:

The right-arm quick is the only bowler who picked a five-for during PSL 2022. Naseem Shah sent 14 batters back to the pavilion.

Zaman Khan:

The fast bowler came back strongly after his poor first couple of matches. Out of the four maiden overs bowled during PSL 7, Zaman bowled two. He finished the tournament with 18 wickets.
