European automotive manufacturer PEUGEOT formally launches operations in Pakistan
It'll be the first time a European car is manufactured in Pakistan.
As per sources, the partnership commenced with the opening of eight 3S dealerships in six cities and a state-of-the-art facility for the assembly of cars in Pakistan.

The CEO of the PEUGEOT brand, Linda Jackson, said, “We’re satisfied with this collaboration and what it means for the Pakistani market.
It’ll be the first time a European car is assembled in Pakistan. We are keen to work with Lucky Motors to support employment, localization, and the local automotive industry in the country.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Lucky Motors Company, Asif Rizvi, stated, “Lucky Motors is set to transform the automotive landscape of Pakistan by introducing Peugeot, the first locally made European brand in the country. We are very keen to partner with Peugeot.
In The first step of this ongoing partnership, the Pakistani customer will be introduced to the PEUGEOT 2008. Since its development, the acclaimed 2008 has been a success story for the brand. It stands apart in the compact SUV segment with its unique design, developed technology, and efficient energy trains.
It also benefits from The PEUGEOT i-Cockpit, which features an appealing interior design, a state-of-the-art digital cluster, along a touch screen that amplifies any driving experience. With 26 international awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, and its perceived quality and worth, 2008 is the ideal model for Pakistani families.
With assistance from PEUGEOT, Lucky Motors Corporation will manufacture multiple models locally at state-of-the-art facilities and is currently exploring possibilities to disseminate numerous models by early next year.
