Needless to say, Eva zu Beck has been the face of the revival of tourism in Pakistan. Her vlogs and videos, garnering millions of views, has really helped improved Pakistan’s image globally. The incumbent government has repeatedly stressed on increasing the capacity of the department with an intention of job creation and positive image building.
Eva has been very vocal about the love she received in this beautiful country. In her recent series of Instagram stories, she shares that she felt more like an immigrant than a tourist. She admits to experiencing feelings of friendship, love and ‘creative satisfaction’ here. She added that there were some difficult moments, but she also insisted that it was because of how she felt and not because of any unpleasant experiences.
”This isn’t my typical video. Yesterday, I had a chance to speak in front of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, and share with him my experience of Pakistan over the last year. I was so honoured to receive this privilege, and I wanted to share my talk with you too.I may not be Pakistani, but I have come to care deeply about Pakistan and its burgeoning tourism industry. I strongly believe that the country has infinite tourism potential, and I can’t wait to see Pakistanis from all regions benefit from this. And, of course, I can’t wait for the whole world to see what Pakistan is truly like.” – she wrote.
