She said that when the company started deteriorating in 2011 after the death of Salman Taseer, owner of the company, her father stood with them and bore all the consequences. Despite his loyalty to the company, they did not value his efforts, and he passed away with the wish of getting the money he earned.
After the company faced a series of losses, they started delaying salaries and also stopped giving other benefits like health insurance, etc. In 2020, Fatima’s father was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumor, and the doctors advised him to immediately get it operated by AKUH. Then, one of the most well-known neurosurgeons in the country Syed Ather Enam performed the surgery. The family asked the company to pay all the dues so that they can pay for surgery, which was about Rs8 lac. But, they did not pay a single penny, although her father was serving the company during his treatment up until the time he got bedridden.
He was transferred to the Clifton office, which is located next to the Ocean mall building while he was sick. In March 2021, his tumor spread in the spinal cord and was paralyzed later on. He passed away shortly after on 6th May, while working as an employee of WorldCall Telecom Limited. After his death, the company did not pay them their dues, and he was the sole earner of the family. More than half of her father’s savings were spent on his treatment.

To further add to the claims, she remarked that the company would keep her father waiting all day for the salary, and at the end of the day, they wouldn’t pay him. Her father tried to reach every possible person who could help, but they would make excuses in return.
