[VIDEO] Guess what? Senator Faisal Javed is writing his own drama!
In an exclusive interview, the Senator shares details of his upcoming project
The Senior PTI Leader, and Senator, Faisal Javed Khan, has revealed that he has been writing a drama on the “basic problems of the Pakistani society.”
In an exclusive interview with The Current, the Senator shares details of his upcoming project, saying, “There is no substance and essence in our dramas. That’s why I want to write targetting our social issues.”
Faisal added, “I have started writing a story which is based on the basic problems of our society, such as partiality. It has become prevalent for people to say, ‘my son is brilliant,’ he knew someone, who helped him get his job done.’ It has become a norm when it is the wrong thing to do.”
“We don’t think twice before lying or slandering. Stealing and Bribing have become normal. People proudly say, ‘My son was not getting his passport; we paid PKR 500 and got it done’. It is bribery, and it’s wrong,” he said.
“My script contains five topics, and the entire story will revolve around them,” shared Senator Faisal further. “And it is the story of a teacher.”
Concluding his response, the PTI leader said, “It will be terrific. When you watch it, you’ll enjoy it.”
When asked which recent Pakistani dramas he watched and liked, Faisal revealed that he enjoyed Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat’s Dil Lagi and “loved” Meri Zaat Zara-e-Benishaan.
“Honestly, I haven’t as such watched the very recent serials,” he added. “But my top favorites are Nijaat and Chaand Grehan. I have DVDs of old dramas at my home.”
